Interested in volunteering for Quinte Sailability?

Wheelchair at dockNot only is volunteering fun but you will be an important part of what makes this program successful.

Volunteers help get equipment ready, assist students in putting their lifejackets on, assist in loading and unloading boats and putting away equipment.

No boating experience is required and, if you are interested, you can have the chance to go out on one of the boats yourself.

Volunteers must be able-bodied, able to bend and stretch and willing to volunteer for a full 8-hour shift. However, it should be noted that a good part of the volunteer's time is spent on-shore while the students are out on the boats and they are able to enjoy the facilities of the yacht club during that time.

Kids of 12 years and older, who have their White Sail III or higher or any boating experience are also needed through the summer for a day or more a week.

QS qualifies for High School Volunteer hours
